Our Volunteers

Volunteer Board of Directors and Committee Members
Cameron Wood has always had interested residents who volunteer their time to make the community an involved, safe, and beautiful place to live. The community is divided up into 13 clusters. Each cluster has 44-90 homes. Some clusters have social functions and many cluster residents are close-knit and help support each other throughout life’s journey in illness and in health. Many long-time residents have given freely of their time and energy throughout the pass 20 years of Cameron Wood’s existance. Although, some of those folks no longer serve on committees, we are a reflection of their past efforts. So we thank all of those who have served on past boards and on committees for leaving their mark for the betterment of our community.
Currently, we are now looking for residents who what to make a difference by running for the board or by joining a committee. In March, 2008, we will elect our board members and establish our capital projects and beautification priorities for another year. Your involvement could make a difference in what we do and how we do it.
If you are interested in running for the 2008 Board of Directors or in joining a committee, please call either a current board member or a committee chairperson. Your involvement and concern for our community can and will make a difference.
Note: Volunteers do not have to have any special skills. Just an interest in bettering our community and seeing it continue to maintain high property values and a reputation for being a caring and supportive place to live.
Here is a list of the board responsibilities and of the committees that take care of our property interests:
