Rotelli's  May 5, 2011:   If you have never been to Rotelli's you are missing a local restaurant just around the corner from Cameron Wood.  It is located on the northwest corner of Carmel and Pineville-Matthews Road.  You don't have to drive down to Ballentyne to get Toni's Pizza cause Rotelli's is just as good.  They also have pasta, salads and sandwiches.  They recently put in a bar, so if you are alone you can sit at the bar and watch the TV while you eat.  They have a large cheese pizza special every Tuesday night for $6.99. Trivia nights are every Wednesday night from 8 -10 p.m.  They open at 11:30 a.m. daily and close at 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and close at 10 p.m. on Friday and Sat.  Recommended by LeAnn Swieczkowski, lski1@bellsouth.net  

 

Jets: I am so happy that Jet's has moved into the Charlotte area. This is the best pizza ever for deep dish. I could only get it when I visited my Michigan hometown. Lorenzo's: Want a terrific NY style pizza, thick or thin this pizza is the best I have had in years. The place was on the Charlotte Observer"s latest Best Pizza's in Charlotte list.
